Dr. Blakely is the Director of the Center for Molecular Neuroscience and Allan D. Dr. Deneris is a Professor in the Department of Neurosciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  His research focus is on transcriptional regulatory mechanisms that control development of neurotransmitter systems in vertebrates, especially on the serotonin and nicotinic cholinergic systems. Dr. David Airey is a Research Professor of Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is assuming the leadership role in the project formerly led by Dr. Elaine Sanders-Bush.  Dr. Airey was also one of the first recipients of the Conte Center Pilot Grants with his proposal on Htr2c RNA editing in hippocampus after stress.  To learn more about Dr. Airey and his research, please visit his website.

Dr. Emeson is a Professor in the departments of Pharmacology and Molecular Physiology & Biophysics and the Joel G. Hardman Chair in Pharmacology.  He has recently been appointed as the Deputy Director of the Center for Molecular Neuroscience and has been Director of the Vanderbilt Transgenic/ES Cell Shared Resource since 2003.  Additional information about Dr. Emeson and his research can be found on his website.
